The idea of a camping business - cheap and affordable outdoor recreation - came to us from abroad. In Karelia, over the past three years, 18 campgrounds have already opened - camps for tourists and travelers in the open air. Camping sites can be completely different: specially targeted for certain groups of vacationers, for example, for today's popular yoga practice clubs, for photographers and artists, for fishermen, for those who want to relax around a campfire in a tent, but with electricity, as well as showers, toilets and saunas nearby, for those who just need a convenient, well-equipped parking lot by a beautiful reservoir and attractions nearby.

Business is not the most costly and profitable, with the right organization and convenient location it can pay off quickly, does not require various permits and approvals - entrepreneurs who are or plan to organize tourism in nature tell about this.

Mobile Hut

Konstantin Volkov, a businessman from Petrozavodsk, works in the field of information technology. He said that he once visited Norway and discovered the idea of business camping, which is very popular there. I discussed everything with my colleagues, and together we decided to create the “Travel Hut” project. They came up with the idea of designing a mobile house that can be disassembled, loaded onto a trailer, transported and installed in the right place. That is, you can go in for tourism and build such cabins for sale.

- It is important that no permits are required to install such a house. You can bring it, put it on stones, and this, in essence, is a new opportunity for tourism. In Russia today it is impossible by law to erect capital buildings on the lands of the forest fund, but such comfortable mobile homes can be erected in different places. And, for example, if people do not come to this or that place, then the house can be disassembled and transported to another or simply sold. This is a modern, mobile option for running a tourist business, it can also attract new people to active tourism - those people who want to engage in active tourism, but at the same time want to live in comfortable conditions, '' says Konstantin Volkov.

The entrepreneur and his associates involved familiar construction specialists who designed the house, then rented premises, hired workers who built a mobile cabin over the winter. The cabin is made according to the type of frame housing construction: it is insulated inside, sheathed with metal on the outside. Konstantin said that he and his friends first considered foreign projects - Norwegian and Finnish, but they turned out to be very expensive. In rubles, an imported house can cost 1.5 million rubles, not counting the money for transportation across the border. Petrozavodsk businessmen cost about 500 thousand rubles for their own model of the cabin.
