According to sources of "Vestnik ATOR", there is no talk about the resumption of tourist exchanges between the countries. TOURISTS DO NOT FLY TO CZECH REPORT

Czech Airlines will resume flights on the Prague - Moscow - Prague route on October 4. According to the carrier, flights will be operated twice a week. Ticket sales are already open. One way tickets start at 21 896 rubles. Starting from October 25, Czech Airlines has scheduled flights to Moscow every day, the cost of tickets is lower: from 12 391 rubles.

According to Vestnik ATOR sources, from October 1, it intends to restart flights to Prague and Aeroflot. While this route is not in the carrier's schedule. On parity terms, the Russian airline will also fly to the Czech Republic twice a week.

Experts draw attention to the fact that the authorities of Russia and the Czech Republic have not yet officially confirmed the restoration of bilateral flights. In addition, as in the case of other European countries, for example, with Switzerland, we are talking about the movement between countries of only limited categories of citizens.

“The story with the Czech Republic is not about tourism either. These are humanitarian goals, family reunification, study, treatment. If earlier such travelers were waiting for export flights, then after their cancellation from September 21, if there are appropriate reasons, tickets for regular flights can be purchased. However, just buying a ticket is not enough. It is necessary to document the grounds for leaving for the Czech Republic, ”says one of the representatives of the Russian aviation industry.

CZECH REPUBLIC DOES NOT ISSUE TOURIST VISAS FROM MARCH

The Czech Republic has suspended the issuance of tourist visas in Russia since March 13. According to the information provided by the Czech Visa Application Center in Moscow, since August 3, only the following categories of applications have been accepted:

  • family members of EU citizens,
  • for entry in the interests of the Czech Republic,
  • for the humanitarian purpose of the trip,
  • from persons engaged in international transport,
  • seasonal workers
  • registered partners of citizens of the Czech Republic, living with them and running a joint household.

Also, registration for long-term visa/long-term stay/permanent stay applications has been suspended indefinitely.
