New technologies in transport

The development of modern technologies is changing the world at lightning speed. This feature is especially clearly traced in the field of transport. This applies to all of its areas: design, safety, control mechanisms, fuel, etc. The largest corporations are engaged in the development and implementation of new technologies, sparing no funding for this, which makes the public constantly amazed at innovations related to air, river, rail and land transport.

The transformation of these modes of transport is important not only from the point of view of their use by people in everyday life. This is of great importance for the military, industrial and research spheres.

Unmanned transport systems

According to statistics, 90% of accidents in the world are caused by the human factor, that is, the most unreliable and dangerous link while driving a car, truck or bus is a person. This concept was expressed by Elon Musk in 2015, as well as the fact that trusting a person to control a mechanism that can lead to death is unacceptable. Then these words were received with irony, but already in 2017 it became an idea that was picked up by most of the automakers.

Experts predict that unmanned vehicles will account for about 10% of all products manufactured by the automotive industry by 2035, and by 2050, robotic vehicles will be able to completely replace their predecessors.

In addition to the fact that this type of control is considered safer, the automatic control system is able to calculate in advance the most profitable driving mode, which will reduce fuel consumption. The greatest benefit from such an implementation is planned to be received by companies that are engaged not in passenger, but in cargo transportation. The first round of tests has already been carried out, and its results have become a powerful trigger for public interest. drones.

So far, the priority is given to hybrids that allow automatic and manual control. The driver will be able to change these modes as needed, depending on the situation on the road. Automatic sensors and control systems will increase the overall speed of movement on the roads of megacities, bypassing traffic jams and problem areas. In addition, new technologies will allow a person traveling in a car to spend the free time at their own discretion, devoting it to their favorite hobby or work. In general, it is expected that autonomous vehicles will be able to change the lives of most people for the better in many ways.

Flying carpet

Since 2013, more and more vehicles are equipped with an electric motor as part of the emission control program. Scientists do not stop working in this direction, developing new technologies that will be more modern and safe.

Developments related to public transport are increasingly associated with hydrogen fuel, which produces several times less emissions and operates silently. This simultaneously solves the problem of chemical and sound pollutants, which are very acute in metropolitan areas.

But the most impeccable at the moment is the Hyperloop system, representing transport capsules containing passengers inside. Such capsules will move at a super speed of 1000 km/h inside a pipe, inside which a reduced pressure is artificially created. It is due to rarefaction that movement at such a speed will be possible. The change in pressure will not affect people inside the capsules, so their well-being will remain unchanged.

The tunnel, through which the high-speed shuttle will rush, will be located above the ground on supports with a monorail. Sealed capsules will move along this monorail. All tests have already been completed and the project is currently underway. To see how revolutionary such high-speed travel will be, just know that the time required to travel from New York to Washington will be reduced to 29 minutes.

Brazil's nature is varied and beautiful. Here you can see different landscapes, water spaces, as well as the most interesting representatives of the fauna. Of course, this is due not only to the location of the country, but also to its enormous size. Brazil is the largest geographically country in South America. The country stretches on the east side from the Atlantic itself and almost to the Andes mountain range in the west. A large area of Brazil is occupied by the Amazonian lowland, which is located in the north and northwest of the country.
