The program combines different types of travel and the most wonderful places in the South Urals. All impressions in one!
Taganay National Park is one of the most picturesque corners of the Urals located at the junction of two parts of the world - Europe and Asia. We will walk through this small mountainous country, unique in its beauty, with unique flora and fauna, mesmerizing landscapes and rich history. We will climb the peaks, visit the valleys, see rapid mountain rivers and swamps, walk through the tundra and the small taiga.
Lake Zyuratkul is the pearl of the South Ural Mountains and the brightest part of the Zyuratkul National Park. This amazing place is rightfully called Sinegorye. From a distance, the ridges, covered with dense taiga forests, really seem to be blue. Here we will most likely see moose! We will be impressed by powerful mountain ranges crowned with bizarre rocks. And, of course, we will admire a lot and take wonderful photos of the lake itself. Or even swim in its purest waters!
River Ai - we will float on catamarans along one of the most picturesque rivers of the Southern Urals. In its valley we will see many rocks and caves.
The Great Surroundings are the calling card of the Ai River. This will be one of the brightest experiences during the rafting! Huge limestone cliffs 90 meters high, consisting of various stone formations and arches. They impress with their size and beauty.
We will meet at the bus station in the city of Zlatoust (2nd lin. Gagarin, 21) at 11:00 local time (09:00 Moscow time). We are going to the starting point of our route - to the Central Estate of the Taganay National Park.
We register the group and set off, today we have to walk 6 km to the Bely Klyuch shelter, where we will set up a camp. The shelter got its name from the famous Taganai spring, famous for its clear and clean water.
After lunch, we make a radial hike (without backpacks) to the first mountain peak - Two-headed hill (1034 m). The ascent to the "Top of the World" begins along a metal ladder of 200 steps and continues along a mountain path leading to the top. From the rocky outcrops on the top of the mountain, a fascinating and captivating view of the Taganai mountainous country opens before our eyes. We will admire the views of the mountains "Responsive Comb" and "Kruglitsa", we will see the "Big Stone River" from a bird's eye view. In clear weather, the visibility of the prospects is 100 kilometers or more.

The South Ural Reserve was established in 1978 with the aim of preserving the unique animals and plants that have settled in this area. The ridges and mountain range of Yamantau located on the territory of the reserve form the highest point of the Southern Urals - its maximum elevation is 1639 meters above sea level.
An interesting feature of the reserve is its territorial location - it is simultaneously located in the Chelyabinsk region and in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The total length of the reserve's borders is 270 kilometers, 185 of which are within the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Most of the borders of the South Ural Reserve run along natural boundaries - only about 15 kilometers stretch along the railway, the rest along forest glades and numerous rivers. On the east side of the reserve is the Iremel Natural Park.
Almost 90% of the territory of the South Ural Reserve is covered with forest - mainly fir-spruce, broad-leaved, small-leaved forests are also found. In total, 698 species of higher plants, 226 species of mosses, 169 species of lichens, 177 species of soil algae and 121 species of fungi grow on the territory of the reserve.

The fauna of the reserve is also quite diverse - there are 260 species of vertebrates alone. As a rule, representatives of the fauna are forest species, but two acclimatized species can also be found - the American mink and the muskrat.
The most common species of the reserve are the elk (400-700 individuals) and the bear (150 individuals), traces of which can be found throughout the entire area of the reserve. At the same time, the greatest concentration of bears was observed near the Bolshoy Yamantau Mountain and on its slopes.
